In the spring of 2023, I designed the logos and uniforms for an expansion team in the Western Canadian Baseball League: the Saskatoon Berries.
The project had a tight deadline with the primary logo revealed less than a month after the team name was decided via a public fan vote. I presented the team with several design options and then refined the chosen concept which was an angry saskatoon berry wearing a backwards hat and holding a baseball bat.
The logo was well received within the community and the media, and I was interviewed by the CBC about my design.
Following the release of the logo, I designed secondary marks and uniforms, and set some of the initial brand standards.
